We're done!!

We had our Embassy appointment today and we are done! We have Lucas' Russian passport and his US visa in hand. Luckily it wasn't that crowded today and we were through in about 1.5 hours. Unfortunately it was smack dab in the middle of Lucas' nap but he fell asleep when we got back.

Technically we can get on a plane right now but since we weren't sure when we'd be done when we arranged the trip we're still leaving on Saturday. We looked into leaving tomorrow but it's too expensive and if we miss the short connection we're stuck in the Amsterdam airport until our original Sat flight with a baby. No thanks! So we're going to sightsee a bit more tomorrow, get some souvenirs and pack up. We have to be up at 3am for our flight so getting to bed early tomorrow night is also key.
